| The final scenes of Twister, where Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton find themselves in the midst of an EF-5 tornado and strap themselves to pipes inside a farm building, were filmed a few miles east of the town of Eldora, Iowa. The big white farmhouse is located a couple miles south of highway 175. The house used to be known as the Twister House Movie Site Bed & Breakfast-RV Park. It appears the park is no longer in operation. |
