cost to operate my KTM 300EXC in 1999-02. Keep in mind, this does not include any race fees (about $25 per race),
fuel or the cost of driving several thousand miles per year to riding areas and racing events, and it certainly does not include
the cost of purchasing the bike. As you can see, 1999 was insanely expensive as I broke about everything there was to
break on the bike. The 2002 costs were skewed by the expense of a complete engine rebuild, of which most of those costs
should have been spread over the previous three years. So brace youself, prospective racers...the painful truth lies within:
